bBlond  is Studio Taka’s proprietary color process.

This special technique creates the most authentic sun-kissed, natural blonde we’ve ever seen. The Studio Taka team worked for years to perfect bBlond®. As “blonde experts”, we are obsessed with developing natural looking blonde hair.

Specifically tailored and formulated to complement each client’s skin tone and hair shade, the Studio Taka team uses Aveda’s Full Spectrum color line – up to 99% naturally derived from plants and non-petroleum based minerals. We’ve had tremendous, repeated success with most hair types and colors.

  • 1. Dark Roots and Streaky Highlights
Otherwise known as the skunk look, this seemingly inevitable problem dates from Linda Evans on Dynasty and before. Most people have medium to dark blonde hair even if they were blonde as children. bBlond® utilizes a custom base-shifting process that will adjust your hair color just enough to appear as though you’ve spent some time in the sun. Many clients tell us it reminds them of the color of their hair when they were young.
  • 2. Noticeable Roots in Just a Few Weeks
Traditional highlight methods cover just 30% to 40% of the hair at the very most, leaving the rest of the hair untouched. Regrowth can be noticeable in as quickly as two weeks. bBlond® slightly changes almost 100% of your hair color – darker roots typically will not be noticeable for 3 to 5 weeks depending on your natural hair color. Most of our bBlond® clients go anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks longer in between color services than when they used traditional highlighting. This offsets the small extra cost of bBlond® while you enjoy much more natural looking results.
  • 3. Hair gets Lighter and Lighter with Each Highlight
Most salons randomly weave the hair each time the highlight color is applied, causing the head of hair to appear as though it is getting lighter and lighter. In the bBlond® process, the Studio Taka team meticulously selects only the previously woven hair so the result is consistent and maintains the three dimensional texture that is so important to natural looking hair.
  • 4. Traditional Highlighting of Hair Causes Breakage
Traditional highlighting methods, because of the random weaving each time the lightener and color is applied, will cause previously processed hair to be treated over and over causing breakage. The Studio Taka bBlond® process is specifically formulated for each client so that only new growth receives the full color process, virtually eliminating the breakage issue.
  • 5. Salon Blonde is Always Brassy Yellow, Dull and Dingy"
Most salons create blonde in a ‘one size fits all’ process that results in a one-dimensional canary yellow blonde. bBlond® recognizes that there is a world of blonde out there, and that there is a shade that works for everyone. Cool, platinum blonde flatters those with darker, olive tones, while warmer strawberry blondes work well for those with snow white complexions. Combined with a process that ‘brightens’ previously treated hair, bBlond® hair looks healthy and sun-kissed. If you’ve always wanted natural looking blonde hair, or if you’re looking to recapture a natural blonde you once had, please call or email Studio Taka for a consultation appointment.
